Bitcoin is important because it enables wealth to be stored with a person without need for a third party. Its fundamental use-case as a store of value with a predictable monetary policy is having profound implications on freeing people into financial sovereignty.
Senior Product Designer
We are entering a new age for financial services. Legacy banking products are built on old, decaying technology while new experiences are being constructed from the ground up.
We are looking for a senior product designer who can simplify how individuals are meant to build wealth.
You will:
- Contribute to discovery and definition stage decisions to resolve user problems through design-thinking
- Collaborate with our internal teams to create experiences across multiple products and platforms without sacrificing consistency and simplicity
- Use data to help inform design decisions that result in the best experience for our users
- Work in a fast-paced, understanding requirements, prototyping, designing, maintaining design documentation and delivering final UI specs to the development team
- Refine optimization based on a combination of user research, production analytics and business goals
Must have:
- 3+ years of product design experiences - from product strategy to monitoring final production performance
- Deep understanding of design principles complemented by analysis and troubleshooting skills
- UX generalist skills including UXR, UX writing, UI design, high-fidelity prototyping, user testing and design documentation
- Effective communication skills
- Basic understanding of component based development
Nice to have:
- Experience working at a startup or in fintech
- Bilingual in English and French
- Basic knowledge of Bitcoin and blockchain technologies
- Education background in either Psychology, Industrial design, Computer science or Data science
- Expertise in Figma(Organization tier usage, created plugins, etc), Framer, Maze, Clickup or equivalents
