The RoleThe Operations team at Fortress isn’t your traditional one. We’re a dynamic, new team seeking to expand our footprint in the Web3 payment space, and we are looking for someone to grow with us and take charge of our processes. As an Operations Associate, you’ll work cross-functionally to support client onboarding and business operations, ensuring initial deposits are monitored and the proper documentation is submitted.
We are looking for a candidate to join us onsite in our Austin, Texas office.
What You’ll Be Doing (i.e., Job Duties)
- Partner with the data team and business to produce data dashboards and reporting.
- Manage various internal/external projects to enhance our exchange product and improve the user experience.
- Monitor client onboarding to ensure all initial deposits and documents are appropriately filed.
- Collaborate with multifunctional internal teams as well as external partners to resolve user issues.
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of business, accounting, or financial operations experience preferred.
- Background in banking, finance, fintech.
- Strong analytical reasoning skills.
- Comfortability with learning and using new software tools.
- Team-focused mindset, eager to collaborate with others to solve problems.
- Excellent communication skills, both inside the organization and externally with clients.
Nice to Have:
- A Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business, Finance, or other related areas.
- Experience or interest in Crypto.
