We are seeking a highly skilled and accomplished professional to join our team as the Head of Business Development for our fast-growing crypto payment startup. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving the growth and expansion of our business, forging strategic partnerships, and positioning us as a leader in the crypto payment industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy to drive growth and achieve our company's objectives.
  • Identify and pursue strategic partnerships, collaborations, and alliances to enhance our market presence and expand our customer base.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including financial institutions, merchants, blockchain companies, and other relevant industry players.
  • Identify new business opportunities and emerging market trends, and provide insights and recommendations to the executive team.
  • Lead negotiations and contract discussions with potential partners, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements are reached.
  • Collaborate closely with the product and marketing teams to align business development initiatives with product roadmap and marketing strategies.
  • Stay up to date with industry developments, regulatory changes, and competitive landscape to proactively identify potential challenges and opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of senior-level experience in business development, strategic partnerships, or related roles within the cryptocurrency industry.
  • Demonstrated success in driving business growth and achieving revenue targets.
  • Strong network of contacts within the crypto payment ecosystem, including financial institutions, merchants, and blockchain companies.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities.
  • In-depth understanding of cryptocurrency, blockchain technology, and the evolving regulatory landscape.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, self-motivated, and results-oriented.
  • Previous experience in a C-level position would be a plus, showcasing your ability to provide strategic leadership and contribute to overall company strategy.

Compensation:

This is a C-level position with compensation in equity only, with no salary until after our next successful funding round. The right candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to our overall company strategy and success, and be rewarded accordingly.
