Our open IP repository enables creative IPs — prose, images, audio, and more — to record their evolutionary journey from inception through the endless combinatorics of digital co-creation. Beyond tracking the provenance and attribution of IP as it grows, we also provide modules that power frictionless composability, allowing anyone to contribute to an IP and to capture the value of that contribution.

Just as Git revolutionized the development of open source software by encompassing the networked evolution of code, Story Protocol is transforming the development of creative IP.

The Protocol PM will work closely with the leadership team, in particular the Head of Protocol and CTO, in order to integrate user and design partner feedback into smart contract design. In addition, the Protocol PM will product manage the development of 1st party applications and collaborate closely with Developer Relations to make Story Protocol a user and developer friendly platform.

Responsibilities

• Integrate customer and design partner feedback into protocol (primarily smart contract level) design updates and improvements
• Regularly interact with customers, users, and design partners to develop a deep understanding of the Story Protocol ecosystem
• Lead and product manage the development of 1st party applications built on Story Protocol
• Engage with Developer Relations to ensure that Story Protocol is both user and developer friendly
• Offer strategic advice to leadership team on protocol design and GTM strategy

Who you are

• At least 3-4 years of product management experience, ideally in crypto
• Deeply understand smart contract architecture and design, ideally in a protocol based company
• Experience and interest in building an ecosystem of applications on top of a platform/protocol
• Ideally based in the Bay Area with the ability to work in person 3 days a week
