Position Summary:

In this role you will be a part of Global Supply Chain team, your duties will include: Sourcing, Purchasing, Managing logistics, Inventory planning, together with general administrative tasks for the Bitfury USA entity. We expect you to be interested in a career within Supply Chain, this role can be a pivot for more senior roles.

This is a very high profile and responsible role within an organisation, requiring someone who is extremely organised and can cope well under pressure. What we do value is a hands-on mentality, being IT-savvy especially with ERP, Office suite & Outlook and being able to operate in hectic situations.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Procurement:
    1. Solicit competitive bids through requests for proposals (RFPs), requests for quotations (RFQs) and requests for information (RFIs).
    2. Create purchase orders in our ERP system and follow up on approvals and payment statuses.
    3. Collect quotes and compare between different supplier
    4. Open and manage corporate accounts with distributors and service providers
    5. Liaise with suppliers for upcoming shipments.
  • Logistics:
    1. Gather quotes and compare pricing for upcoming shipments (air, sea, road).
    2. Manage inbound and outbound freight
    3. Issue shipment Invoices for customs purposes.
    4. Work with brokers on customs clearance
  • Inter-company administration.
    1. Maintain an accurate administration online for all Incoming and Outgoing shipments.
    2. Maintain an audit trail for all Incoming and Outgoing shipments, three-way match principle.
    3. Ensure stakeholders provide the required documentation with regards to the above.
  • Inventory
    1. Manage and provide reports on monthly and year end DC inventories
  • Incidentally, you may be asked to perform some planning activities for our factories.

Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree Supply Chain, Logistics or Engineering or 5 years of experience in relevant position.
  • Experience working for an International organization preferred.
  • Proficient in English, 2nd language is preferred: Spanish, Cantonese, Mandarin or Russian.
  • Advanced MS Excel knowledge VBA Is preferred.
  • Has an experience with MS Access and Is keen to expand their working knowledge.
  • Some experience with NetSuite Is preferred.
  • Is a stress resilient personality and is adaptive enough to cope with ever changing targets and objectives.
