DFINITY is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help bring AI agents to the Internet Computer. The ideal candidate enjoys solving large, ambiguous problems, is eager to pursue a high-impact mission, and has the vision to shape a new product category.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop a distributed system for serving foundational LLMs to smart contracts on the Internet Computer, ensuring reliability, security, and determinism.
• Shape the concept of AI agents on the Internet Computer by creating frameworks, libraries, and tools that simplify agent development and drive adoption.
• Optimize the core protocol to enhance the performance, scalability, and latency of AI agents.
• Contribute to the core protocol to optimize the performance and latency of AI agents.
• Help define the mid- and long-term roadmap for AI on the Internet Computer.
• Represent DFINITY at conferences and events.

Requirements:

• Engineering Expertise:
  • Proven experience as a Senior Software Engineer, with a track record of building production-grade systems from scratch.
  • Strong coding skills and a passion for solving complex technical problems.
  • Attention to detail and a data-driven approach to decision-making.

• AI Knowledge:
  • Hands-on experience with deep learning frameworks
  • Understanding of AI fundamentals

• GPUs (Big plus):
  • Experience programming GPUs (e.g., CUDA) for high-performance computing.
