Description


Blockaid builds trust in blockchain technology through better security. Our onchain security platform is trusted by the biggest names in web3—including Coinbase, Metamask, Uniswap, Backpack, Stellar, and more—to detect, understand, and automatically prevent or mitigate damage from fraud, scams, hacks, and financial risks.

As a Social Media Manager at Blockaid, you'll play the critical role of helping evangelize the Blockaid brand by applying your strong meme game, ability to spot and capitalize on trends from being perpetually online, and creativity to create compelling social content, and engage with our target audiences online.

What you'll do:

  • Partner with the head of marketing and CEO to create thought leadership content
  • Own social content and engagement across X, LinkedIn, and Telegram
  • Build and execute our video content pipeline (live multi-channel streams)
  • Host and manage virtual and in-person events
  • Work with demand generation to amplify your work with paid advertising
  • Create memes for Blockaid that help establish our brand with catchy and repeatable patterns (branded GIFs, thematic imagery, etc.)

Requirements
  • Passionate about being perpetually online and engaged with social media.
  • At least 3 years of experience managing social media accounts and communities.
  • Proven history of driving engagement for brands or personal projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to grow social media following through original content and active engagement.
  • Quick-thinking with a strong bias for action.
  • Ability to be both scrappy and collaborative: capable of creating your own GIFs, videos, and images, while also working with partners to execute your vision.
