Title: Sr. QA Automation Engineer

We are seeking a passionate and motivated senior-level QA automation engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in software engineering, test automation and has a strong passion for quality excellence. They will be responsible for identifying, analyzing and driving test automation standards and processes to ensure our platform remains resilient, stable and performant as our team continues to drive innovation and value for our users.

As a Senior QA Automation Engineer on the team, you will champion the quality of our features in our development pipeline using both automated and manual tests, reporting and verifying defects, and signing-off on features and release candidates. You will own the authoring and the execution of test plans and test cases for our team and serve as the primary driver and owner of prioritizing resolutions to known issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Drives quality excellence metrics and standards for the platform, services and user experiences delivered.
• Analysis of business requirements with a focus on identifying risks, opportunities, solutions and ways to simplify through automation.
• Own test automation solutions, standards and processes for the platform, services and user experiences.
• Design and write test cases and test automation scripts to achieve identified quality assurance objectives.
• Own, design and execute proper synthetic tests for all critical production services and experiences.
• Logs defects in a detailed, understandable and reproducible manner and track defects through assignment and closure working closely with the development team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a QA automation engineer.
• Proficiency working with testing automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, Cypress, etc.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Bash, Powershell, Python
• Experience using QA test tracking tools such as Test Rail.
• Strong experience with testing frameworks, including Cypress and react-testing-library for both unit and end-to-end testing.
• Strong understanding of the web development, ‘Saas’ and cloud infrastructure stacks.
