The AML TM Project Manager is a critical member of the Global Transaction Monitoring team responsible for the delivery and support of technology solutions. The candidate will manage the deployment of AML Monitoring tools and solutions and other TM related initiatives. This role will report up to the Global Head of Transaction Monitoring.
Responsibilities
- Oversee project management plans, project milestones and deliverables in consultation with stakeholders across Compliance and various Business Units
- Manage the implementation of the projects with stakeholders such as Data Analytics, Technology, and external vendors
- Negotiate with vendors and across teams to ensure adequate resources are available during various phases of the project
- Manage the calibration, enhancement and implementation of AML Transaction Monitoring rules and systems
- Act as a Point of Contact (POC) in matters pertaining to data and system infrastructure of AML Transaction Monitoring systems
- Deliver effective changes of process, systems and tools for improving efficiency and effectiveness of AML monitoring and surveillance function
- Deliver management information to regional and global stakeholders
Requirements:
- Ideally at least seven years of AML Transaction Monitoring solutions or other surveillance systems calibration and implementation, preferably in financial crime compliance in financial industries or consulting firms.
- Familiar in conducting basic data analytics and statistical analysis
- Self driven, highly motivated, able to work independently and deliver outcomes within stipulated deadlines
- Excellent verbal and written communicator with ability to collaborate and engage multiple teamsÂ
- Good management of time and able to set and adjust priorities for tasks according to changes in project activities
- Familiarity with cryptocurrency products (good to have)
