Responsibilities:

• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of all financial records 
• Maintain a strong financial control environment, ensuring processes comply with company finance policies and procedures, as well as with local regulations
• General control and accounting oversight for all transactions
• Coordinate intercompany transactions, and consolidation for financial accounts 
• Balance Sheet review and analysis at the account level to ensure financials are in compliance with local and IFRS requirements
• Manage the processes for financial forecasting and budgets for the region
• Monitor compliance with management policies
• Provide support on license applications and regulatory reporting
• Monitor the adequacy of funding for the market
• Support annual tax and financial audits
• Assist with the set-up and ongoing management of all banking relationships
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key Business and Finance partners
• Challenge and support efforts to maximize performance and efficiency in line with the overall strategy and objectives
• Manage a small team and ensure they remain highly motivated and consistently deliver a high level of performance

Requirements

• Strong English Language skills are essential
• CPA-Certified or equivalent
• At least 15 years of experience in similar roles
• Familiarity with local laws and tax regulations is required
• Strong finance-based analytical skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work with senior management
• Working knowledge of the crypto industry is preferred
