Pine Protocol is hiring a Web3 BD/Partnership Manager
Compensation: $65k - $100k

Our mission at Pine is to build and facilitate the adoption of technology that will bring the $4.5 trillion asset-backed financing industry on-chain. The Pine protocol is a decentralised two-sided NFT-backed loan protocol and since our BETA launch in late 2022, our platform has facilitated over 2,000 ETH in loan transactions. Backed by top tier investors, Pine’s globally distributed team comes from diverse backgrounds in blockchain engineering, quantitative trading and management consulting.
Role:
We are looking for a candidate with a strong interest in the blockchain, cryptocurrency and NFT space to help us scale up our business development and partnership efforts. Due to the B2B2C nature of our business, the BD manager will be responsible for striking partnerships with NFT projects, NFT artists, NFT marketplaces, digital asset wallet providers, digital asset lenders and other players in the NFT and NFTfi space.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Set business targets (KPIs) together with the management team and formulate a strategy and execution plan to achieve them
- Manage the end-to-end business development process from identifying prospective targets, conducting discovery, following up to closing deal
- Refine existing business development workflow including enhancing the setup and adoption of CRM tools such as Hubspot
- Flexibility to travel globally to attend conferences and build relationship with new and existing business partners
- Build a team of driven business development professionals and work closely with the growth and community team to collaborate
- Work closely with the product team to learn new product features and to provide product feedback from business partners
Requirements:
- At least 5 + years of sales or client success experience
- Exception verbal and written professional communication in English
- Experience in planning and managing sales strategy to a new market and niche with a successful track record selling new products to the market
- Ability to learn new concepts quickly and be able to keep abreast of latest trends in the respective industry
- Ability to get a good understanding of technology product
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience in a newly start up organisation
- Passionate about blockchain, cryptocurrency and NFT space
- Business level proficiency for other languages besides English
- Experience in working with legal contracts in a sales capacity
