Hi, we're Ondo Finance. Our mission is to provide institutional-grade, blockchain-enabled investment products and services. We have both a technology arm that develops decentralized finance technology, and an asset management arm that creates and manages tokenized funds. We are the first (and so far, only) company to tokenize exposure to US Treasuries. We are also focused on incubating protocols that can support both tokenized real-world assets and traditional crypto. We're fully remote, with team members across the U.S.
About the role
Our web team is focused on building web applications and APIs enabling people to access and interact with complex investment products across multiple blockchains. Joining a small team with a wide breadth of responsibilities you will be working across the stack to execute on new features and products while maintaining a high level of excellence in our code quality and delivered solutions. Due to the nature of our blockchain-enabled RWA investment products, you will have the opportunity to help us build at the forefront of web2/web3 (web 2.5) experiences to usher in the next big wave of on-chain capital.

What your responsibilities will be:
- Building upon and enhancing our web applications
- API design, development, and integration
- Design, develop and maintain databases that support our APIs
- Design, develop and maintain blockchain indexing solutions in the cloud
- Implementing external system integrations that support our web applications and operations team
- Building and maintaining monitoring systems
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to a culture of ownership, collaboration, and technical excellence
What we are looking for:
- +/- 3 hours from the PST time zone — typically this means you're located in the Americas
- At least five years of experience as a software engineer contributing to production code bases in Node.js/React/Javascript (Typescript)
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment with changing needs and requirements
- Solid fundamental knowledge of web application, API, and web3 development
- A dedication to continuous learning and a commitment to best practices across the whole technology stack
- A strong team player with excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- An engineering generalist who is excited to learn new things and share their knowledge with his/her team
- Demonstrated interest in crypto — building, investing, yield farming, minting, voting, or whatever excites you in the space
- Prior experience building crypto-native / web3 projects deployed on an EVM mainnet — especially using React, Node, and JavaScript (TypeScript); experience in DeFi, Solidity, TheGraph, serverless, cloud infrastructure (AWS), testing, or security are a plus
