These events provide opportunities for education, networking, and exploring the newest trends and opportunities within web3.

Chainlink Labs is looking for an amazing Events Marketing Manager to help manage and grow our North America Meetups program. Our goals are to connect, inspire, and transform the attendee experience, and to deliver an exceptional experience throughout the entire lifecycle of an event. Through collaboration with the company’s key business functions, we manage a portfolio of events, overseeing everything from strategy to execution to analysis.

We are looking for someone with a minimum of 4 years of event management experience who isn’t afraid to be an owner. This person is a pro at multitasking, comfortable coordinating with senior stakeholders and partners, and can manage multiple event workstreams. 

You will have the opportunity to plan the best events in the space with the most engaged audience, all in partnership with the smartest people in web3.

Responsibilities of This Role

• Oversee and expand our current US meetup program in partnership with the Community team. 
• Support the global event team presence at select events and lead execution of 1-2 flagship 3P or owned events.
• Define goals and metrics for events in partnership with senior stakeholders across the business.
• Work with cross-functional teams to identify target audiences and create curated program content.
• Develops and maintains project timeline, leading cross-functional meetings to ensure deliverables are on track.
• Track feedback and success of the program via qualitative and quantitative data.
• Develop budgets and resourcing plans for the program
• Provide regular reports on the effectiveness and status of the program

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in marketing or related field
• 4+ years of related event experience
• Strong communication, leadership, and gravitas
• Ability to travel as needed across the North American region and flexibility to travel internationally 2-3 times a year
• Can follow budget guidelines and manage spend
• Flexible, resourceful, and highly organized
• Expert knowledge of Google Suite products (Slides, Sheets, etc)
• Passion for blockchain and the Chainlink Community
• Experience working with an online community and advocacy platforms and tools
• Strong communication skills and proven experience owning relationships with external community partners and organizations

• Blockchain/crypto experience (interest to learn is a must)
• Strategic thinker with strong analytical ability
• Address issues with a customer service-oriented approach
• Innovative, creative, and thinks outside of the box
• Always striving to raise the bar
• Experience with Salesforce.com
• Passionate about the event industry and making customers feel celebrated
