Compensation: $84k - $90k estimated

About The Job
The Account Director is the driving force on the account. They fully understand the client's expectations and goals and execute on planned and proactive strategy every week. They take direction and understand how to get results and also take the initiative and proactively identify new opportunities and story angles.
What You Will Do
- Manage 3-5 accounts across tech, edtech, fintech, crypto
- Media relations: Spot trends, develop creative story angles, and secure coverage in print, broadcast and online media outlets
- Content: Write op-eds, blogs and press releases
- Speaking and Events: Identify and secure speaking opportunities for clients, ensure clients gain awareness at conferences
- Digital: Collaborate with the digital team to socialize client media coverage
- Communicate with client on account team progress and opportunities
- Create communications plans
- High quality writing with minimal edits
- Review junior work, giving edits and feedback
- Mentor junior team members

- Expert: Experience in tech, edtech, fintech, crypto
- Leader: You have successfully driven results on accounts, proven personal ownership of outputs
- Strategist: You have a proven ability to solve problems and strategically think within an account to ensure short term and mid term results
- Presenter: You have a proven the ability to present to clients
- Mentor: You have worked in teams and led others to execute on plans
