You might have heard of Field Marketing or Channel Marketing. Maybe you’ve heard of Partner Marketing or Analyst Relations. This role does all of these things. At Protocol Labs (PL), much of our focus centers around low-level internet protocol software, decentralized storage, blockchain technology, and cryptocurrency, we also know that marketing to our target audience is key to our success. Relationship Marketing works in a highly cross-functional manner, collaborating closely with Storage Providers, Analysts, Partners, Product Marketing, Operations, Engineering and Business Development as well as the broader community. This role is being sourced for the Ecosystem Marketing Team and will report to the Head of Ecosystem Marketing. Responsibilities include but are not limited to working very closely with Storage Providers (SPs), Market Analysts, Partners and Vendors to better understand their needs and deliver world-class support. In addition, this role will attend events where all SPs, Analysts and Partners will be while growing our ecosystem through all of the traditional marketing tactics.

In Relationship Marketing at Protocol Labs, you will…

• Work with analyst relations stallworths

• Manage partner/vendor relations

• Partner with Storage Providers

• Deeply understand how to create and execute field marketing campaigns needed to reach the ecosystem

• Advocate for our existing SP/AR/Partners and be informed about their needs and how to help them be successful on the Filecoin Network

• Understand the competitive landscape

• Track the right metrics and execute campaigns that drive awareness and adoption on an ongoing basis

• Create a comprehensive strategy on how to create pipeline, drive funnel growth, progress SPs through nurture, and ensure effective onboarding into the Filecoin Network

• Excel at working through internal and external teams to accomplish broad-ranging outcomes

• Have a passion for participating in events where you will attract potential storage providers

• Can travel frequently to ensure Filecoin is reaching Storage Providers on their terms

• Have proven success in dealing with industry analysts and industry luminaries

• Can build a comprehensive field marketing strategy including but not limited to social media campaigns, website optimization, lead capture, email nurture, opportunity progression, and smooth onboarding

• Demonstrated success as a product spokesperson on a national or global level

• Previous experience with press and media

• Experience and interest in blockchain technology and distributed systems

• Experience with open source communities and projects

• Experience with distributed organizations

• Background in software engineering
