We are seeking an experienced Smart Contract Developer with expertise in the Internet Computer (IC) blockchain and Rust programming language to help us set up and deploy canisters efficiently. The primary task involves debugging and resolving deployment issues, ensuring successful canister installation, and configuring the project environment correctly.
Requirements:
- Technical Skills:
- Expertise in Rust programming language for smart contract development.
- Proficiency with Internet Computer (IC) and the DFINITY SDK (dfx).
- Strong experience in deploying, managing, and debugging canisters on the IC blockchain.
- Familiarity with WebAssembly (WASM) module deployment.
- Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix terminal commands and scripting.
- Tools & Platforms:
- Proficiency with Git for version control.
- Experience with Docker and containerization (optional but preferred).
- Basic knowledge of front-end deployment pipelines using tools like Vite or Webpack.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.
- Clear communication and documentation abilities.
- Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
Bonus Skills:
- Familiarity with Decentralized Finance (DeFi) projects.
- Experience integrating wallet systems or web3 front-ends.
Tasks
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to canister deployment using dfx.
- Debug errors related to replica communication and WASM installation failures.
- Develop and maintain smart contracts using Rust.
- Configure and maintain the project environment, ensuring all dependencies and paths are correctly set.
- Automate deployment scripts where necessary.
- Document the process and provide support for future deployments
