About You:

We’re searching for an experienced Technical Writer to join our distributed, marketing team. As an ideal candidate, you will have proven experience in a highly technical field, such as blockchain technology, software development, computer science, or engineering. You will need to evaluate and analyze complex information and have a natural desire to help people understand things that are hard to understand.

Responsibilities:

• write marketing and PR content, updates, and other materials
• help edit texts and wordings for applications and websites
• write content and letters for outreach and public communications
• edit and proofread text for social media posts, websites, and other materials
• assist in other communication activities and tasks
• attend daily standup calls

Must have’s:

• a strong command of the English language—both oral and written
• ability to write quality content and edit documents for both formal and semi-formal tones
• ability to follow directives with minimal need for supervision
• a solid online writing portfolio
• at least a basic knowledge of blockchain technology, cryptocurrencies, and related topics
• ability to research and understand technical terms and concepts that are beyond his/her current knowledge scope
• ability to write marketing content that fits either technical or mainstream audiences
• ability to work independently or in teams
• ability to identify synergies and collaborations with other team members
• a strong drive to propel projects with social impact
• a solid understanding of the value of decentralization
• an appreciation for open source software
• ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
