The Role

As part of the Brokerage Team, you will report to the Head of Trading where you will gain experience and deep insights into the cryptocurrency ecosystem. You will also work closely with the Technology team as well as the Operations Team where you will also learn about inventory management and start building the foundation of your career.

Key responsibilities:

• Support traders on daily operations
• Create spreadsheets and reports to help traders to monitor the trades, PnL, etc.
• Learn and gain in-depth knowledge of derivatives products, risks, pnl and specificities of cryptocurrency trading
• Constantly monitor the risks of the desk and maintain algos operational 24/7
• Research the latest projects and developments in the cryptocurrency ecosystem and develop new strategies under the lead of a senior trader
• Act as the intermediary between traders and other teams (technology, operation, sales) to explain and follow up different projects

Qualifications:

• 1+ years of experience in front office, favourably on a trading desk at a financial institution
• Strong analytical skills and sound knowledge of VBA/Python (knowledge on SQL and KDB is a plus)
• Rigorous and detail oriented combined with problem-solving skills; a passion for digitalisation and an interest in development in the crypto space
• Ability to think outside the box, adapt to new market environment and a confident communicator
• An entrepreneurial mentality with the ability to work well under pressure and a strong sense of personal accountability and ownership
