Horizen Labs is seeking a motivated, goal-oriented professional to join our Sales team as an Enterprise Sales Development Representative (ESDR). In this role, the ESDR will play a pivotal part in propelling revenue growth through the implementation of strategic and impactful cold-calling initiatives. Our ideal candidate possesses exceptional prospecting skills, an intuitive ability to qualify leads, and a knack for booking meetings with potential clients.
As an ESDR at Horizen Labs, you will be at the forefront of our sales efforts, acting as a key liaison between our company and prospective customers. Your primary objective will be to generate qualified sales meetings that enable our sales team to foster meaningful relationships with potential clients and ultimately drive business expansion. By employing your exceptional communication skills and understanding of our products and services, you will effectively convey the value proposition of Horizen Labs to prospects and compel them to engage further with our sales team.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth research on target accounts to understand their business, industry, pain points, and potential needs.
- Compile comprehensive target account lists based on predefined criteria and segmentation.
- Utilize target account lists to identify key contacts in defined roles within the target accounts.
- Conduct outbound prospecting activities, primarily through cold calling, to engage with potential clients and assess their fit and interest level.
- Qualify leads by assessing their potential as sales opportunities and their alignment with the company's ideal customer profiles.
- Utilize persuasive communication skills to book qualified sales meetings with potential clients.
- Collaborate closely with the sales team to understand their target market and specific requirements for successful meetings.
- Utilize HubSpot CRM to effectively track and manage sales activities, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
- Align activities with company OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) and KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) as determined by the role.
- Conduct effective cold calls, email outreach, and InMessage introductions to engage potential clients, showcase the value proposition of our products/services, and generate interest in scheduling a meeting.
- Adapt sales scripts and messaging to various buyer personas and industry segments.
- Attend conferences or industry events to network, build relationships, and generate leads.
- Represent the company professionally and effectively communicate its value proposition.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum of 2 years of sales experience, preferably in outbound sales or business development.
- Proven track record of success in cold calling and meeting booking.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Results-oriented with the ability to work independently and meet targets.
- Familiarity with CRM tools, preferably HubSpot.
- Willingness to join a fast-paced startup environment and adapt to evolving responsibilities.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with the Director of Sales and other team members
