About the Role

We are looking for a Financial Planning and Analysis Senior Manager who can own the planning, forecasting, and budgeting process, and be responsible for key financial analysis to support Horizon’s major business decisions. The position will support the overall financial health of the company by running the FP&A processes, ongoing analysis about burn, runway, and spend.

Financial Planning & Analysis

• Work closely with the CFO and all functional leaders to prepare the annual budget.
• Lead the quarterly reforecasting of the budget and communication to various stakeholders.
• Lead the monthly and quarterly variance analysis from budget reporting and communication of monthly budget reporting to stakeholders.
• Work closely with the Controller and Crypto Finance Manager to collect and analyze historical data to be used in the budget and draw implications of current results for next year's budget.
• Summarize detailed budget information for reporting to the board and management and report actual financial results as it relates to the approved budget.
• Assist the CFO in preparation of financial models with multiple scenarios.
• Run important financial analysis to support leadership decision making, and strategy, as well as prepare final reports for stakeholders.
• Run some scenario planning regarding our revenues projection and spend forecast.

Profit and Loss

• Create profit and loss (P&L) reports for the board and the management, as well as reports like variance reports, which track budget vs. actual spend by product and by functions.

Profit Margins

• Break down the cost and revenue or profit generated by each product within the company.
• Assess our marketing spend from a RoI perspective, and own the CaC model and run analysis.

Requirements

• 7+ years of working experience in Finance
• Several years of FP&A experience in a senior roleBA in accounting, controlling, and/or finance
• Professional qualification such as CA or CPA or CFA a strong plus
• Advanced computer software skills, including advanced Excel (writing macro a plus) and other accounting packages a plus
• Strong influencing and interpersonal skillsHigh level of commercial acumen
• Outstanding attention to detail
