About the Role

We are looking for a Client Growth Business Lead to join the company's team. The ideal person for this role is someone who has a passion for “moving the needle” by driving pipeline generation. This role will primarily create end-to-end offline and online programs to drive engagement and deepen relationships against the company's ideal customer profile group and target account list.

In your first 30 days, you will assess Protocol Labs’ client growth enterprise marketing efforts and learn about Filecoin network cloud storage and competitive landscape, and acclimate yourself with the Filecoin buyer. During this time, you will also engage with the rest of the client growth team and define the needs and roles of a successful account-based sales and marketing program.

In the next 60 days, you will assume responsibility for qualification and development of inbound marketing leads from Lead, to MQL, to SQL and develop your first account-based marketing and nurture campaigns.

After 3 months, you will be fully engaged with the company's account-based marketing programs and own the planning and execution with help from the company's marketing, client growth and storage provider teams. While you will continue to deepen your understanding of the Filecoin network and ecosystem, you will be setting and implementing priorities in coordination with the greater growth marketing team.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead new client business growth from pipeline generation to initial outreach to first meeting to qualification to decision maker buy-in

  • Generate and maintain a list of target accounts that meet the company’s ideal customer profile

  • Analyze, qualify, and nurture inbound leads generated from marketing programs

  • Pitch the Filecoin benefits and use cases to clients, and partner with the product team in client growth to understand client requirements

  • Work closely with the client growth team to provide feedback and learnings from clients to inform proposition, positioning, and product

  • Work with growth marketing to develop and implement an end-to-end management of account-based marketing program execution, including campaign setup, A/B testing, conversion flows, and campaign optimization

  • Lead ongoing pipeline check-ins with the client, storage provider, and marketing teams to ensure account goals, key contacts, and account plans remain on track

  • Own weekly reporting and analysis on marketing qualified lead / sales qualified / decision maker buy-in pipeline

Qualifications:

  • Proven, cloud storage inside sales and/or marketing experience within enterprise software/SaaS, with 8-10+ years total experience

  • Experience selling cloud storage technologies into higher education, researchers or public data sets a big plus

  • Experience building targeted account & whitespace plans

  • Ability to analyze data to make performance improvements

  • Strong understanding of account management and a track record of owning targeted, personalized outreach campaigns

  • HubSpot Marketing & Sales Hub, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Google Suite systems experience

  • Multi-lingual is a plus

The base salary for this position currently ranges from $188,000 to $218,000, plus cryptocurrency, equity, and opportunities for upside through performance rewards in cryptocurrency and equity. The base pay is based on a number of factors and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, experience, skills, abilities, training, and education.
