🙌🏼 What you will be doing
We’re on the hunt for an exceptional Senior Product Manager - Payments to join our talented product team. You’ll lead key initiatives in building our global payments stack, manage relationships with acquirers, issuers, PSP’s & other Fintechs we work with in delivering a best in class payments experience for Ramp customers on both on-ramp (buy) and off-ramp (sell).
In this pivotal role you will drive the iterative development and delivery of innovative financial products that delight our customers. As a Senior Product Manager, you will play a significant role in supercharging the growth of Ramp, overseeing product strategy, execution, and alignment with the company's vision.
🧩 What you will be working on
- Own global payment acceptance, building new features, services & functionality that maximises user conversion while ensuring payments compliance
- Manage card payment acceptance & relationship with acquirers, card networks & PSP’s to optimise acceptance rates, reduce payment processing costs and fraud
- Monitor payment acceptance rates across acquirers, discover & implement opportunities to improve payment acceptance through solutions like network tokens, AFT’s, improving our front end error handling etc.
- Improve our payments stack by managing acquirer, PSP & Fintech integrations to deliver a delightful payment experience
- Work with the Head of Fraud to define a payments fraud strategy and identify opportunities to reduce fraud globally
- Drive user flow improvements that result in a frictionless payments experience
- Define & monitor Key Performance Indicators to measure impact of initiatives, product success and take data-driven decisions to improve payments
- Advocate and motivate your team to accomplish their personal goals
- Work with the data science team to set up dashboards, trends, analysis of payments data: acceptance rates, decline reasons, issuers etc. for informed decision-making
- Collaborate with commercial, engineering, design, other product managers and marketing teams to create a customer-focused payments strategy & roadmap
- Oversee the product development lifecycle, ensuring timely and budget-conscious product delivery
- Engaging with key stakeholders, executives, customers, and partners to gather feedback and build consensus on product direction and priorities
🤟🏻What you will bring:
- Proven experience within payments on the merchant side - managing acquirer, issuer, card networks & PSP relationships within high-risk merchant space like crypto, igaming, gambling, marketplaces, travel etc.
- Experience of managing card and APM acceptance, network tokens, multi-acquirer & global payments setup, cross-border payments, SCA
- Prior experience of working in a dynamic scale-up or start-up environment is a plus
- Strong product mindset with a deep understanding of the complete product development lifecycle, including Discovery, Delivery, Continuous Discovery, Hypothesis Validation, and Running Product Experiments
- Zero-to-one experience on a consumer facing product (ideally within a regulated setting)
- You’re data driven, can ground your thinking in analysis, identify key metrics and their drivers and evaluate the success of your work and others
- Ability to lead critical initiatives both strategically and with a hands-on approach
- Experience in effectively managing and mentoring cross-functional teams
- Expertise in analytics coupled with a sound knowledge of UX principles, including consumer conversion optimisation
- Exceptional communication skills, assertiveness, and the ability to collaborate seamlessly with diverse teams to assess needs and address any challenges
