We’re Hiring: Connectivity Intern
Talos is currently seeking a Connectivity Intern in our Cyprus office. As a Connectivity Intern, you will work closely with our experienced team to support and enhance our connectivity solutions. You will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the design, implementation, and optimization of various connectivity technologies, contributing to the seamless flow of data within our organization.
This position is perfect for individuals keen on expanding their understanding of connectivity technologies in a real-world setting. You will work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, gaining hands-on experience that will set the stage for a successful career in the field.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Facilitate the integration of external gateways into current systems, encompassing API integration and configuration processes.
- Acquire familiarity with the FIX protocol and its application within the cryptocurrency industry.
- Perform comprehensive testing to verify the smooth operation of integrated gateways, promptly identifying and resolving any integration challenges encountered.
- Engage in collaborative efforts with developers to revamp existing code, aiming to elevate code quality, optimize performance, and uphold coding standards.
- Foster close collaboration with the development team to garner exposure to frameworks and development methodologies employed within the Talos environment.
Qualifications
- Class of 2025 pursuing a degree in Computer Science or related field or experience.
- Located near our Nicosia office. This internship will be 5 days in-office.
- Experience with programming languages (e.g. Python, Go, Scala, Java, C++) and passionate about writing clean, maintainable code.
- Experience with web technologies like REST and WebSocket.
- Familiarity with cloud services and infrastructure (e.g. Google Cloud Platform) is a plus
- Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g. DataDog) is a plus
- Familiarity with Linux operating systems is a plus
- Interest in financial technology and crypto.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Energetic, creative, and autonomous self-starter.
