Role Overview Position Title: Chief Operating Officer Reports to: Bank PresidentLocation: Norfolk, NEJob Type: Full-timeSalary Range: $120,000-$150,000 base salaryAs Telcoin launches its Digital Asset Bank to serve as a regulated depository institution for digital assets, we are seeking a highly experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO) to help build and scale this new entity. This executive role is critical to ensuring the bank operates with the highest levels of safety, efficiency, and compliance from day one. The COO will play a pivotal part in bridging strategic vision with operational execution: establishing core systems, managing daily activities, and guiding teams to deliver on the bank’s mission of secure, innovative, and customer-focused financial services.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Oversight - Managing the day to day running of the digital asset depository. Ensuring all operational aspects function smoothly and efficiently.  Translating high level strategies into executable plans and drives the implementation of these plans across various departments.  Ensure the bank operates safely and soundly by complying with banking laws, regulations.  Monitor key performance indicators. Identifies opportunities for process enhancement and implements strategies to improve operational efficiency and profitability.  Leads and directs senior management and operational staff. Fostering team building and ensuring personnel are aligned with strategic goals.  Oversees information technology systems, infrastructure, and facilities to support operational functionality and service delivery.  Works with the finance department to manage capital investments, control the budget, and ensure strong financial health.

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field.  Minimum 5 years experience leading teams with demonstrated success coaching and motivating team members.  Minimum 5 years experience as a leader in banking operations.  Significant knowledge of bank operating systems, policies, and operating procedures.  Excellent oral, written,and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to instruct others, interpret documents, and write reports and correspondence.  Excellent organizational and time management skills.  Ability to deal with Complex problems involving multiple facets and variables in non standardized situations.
