Business Development Executive


Company Description


KwikTrust is a SaaS blockchain business that has recently launched the KwikSign platform and will shortly launch the OnRekord SuperNFT platform. KwikSign provides unlimited free digital signatures recorded on a blockchain with integrated identity checks (KYC). OnRekord, initially launching in the music industry before expanding to other asset classes, will enable music creators to protect their copyright, develop new revenue streams and get paid faster.


Role Description


This is initially a contract role, later becoming a W2 employee, for a Business Development Executive at KwikTrust. As a Business Development Executive you will be responsible for SaaS enterprise sales for the recently launched KwikSign and the forthcoming OnRekord SuperNFT products. You will manage existing and future company generated leads and also develop your own sales pipeline and partnerships. This is a hybrid role, located in either Los Angeles or the Bay area with flexibility for some remote work. The ideal candidate will have experience in all stages of the sales cycle. They should be confident with building new client relationship and maintaining existing ones. They should have evidence of strong skills and possess good negotiation skills.


Roles and Responsibilities


  • Build relationships with prospective clients
  • Maintain consistent contact with existing clients
  • Manage sales pipeline
  • Analyze market and establish competitive advantages
  • Track metrics to ensure targets are hit
  • Work with the marketing team to develop sales materials, provide feedback and make suggestions for the overall marketing strategy.
  • Stay updated about emerging technology across SaaS, digital signatures, blockchain, AI and NFTs and determine how to best utilise technology for maximum operational efficiency.

Skills and Requirements


  • Previous experience with SaaS and Web 3.0
  • 3+ years of relevant business development experience
  • Experience in full sales cycle including deal closing
  • Strong negotiation and presentation skills
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and managerial skills.
  • Excellent decision-making skills and problem-solving capacity.
  • Creative thinking with the ability to come up with new ideas.
  • Ability to work under pressure and adhere to tight deadlines.
  • CRM experience is preferred
