Based in Washington DC and with offices in New York City, Toronto, London, and Tampa, HarrisX runs the Mobile Insights (wireless focused) and Total Communication Surveys (TV/broadband/voice focused) and an array of other connected consumer surveys resulting in the largest syndicated TMT-focused consumer trackers in the U.S. Across its products, HarrisX gathers data from nearly 100,000 monthly respondents. Role Overview:

As part of our class of Research Analysts, you will be responsible for data analysis and production of client deliverables. The Research Analyst position is a client facing role that requires attention to detail, discipline, self-motivation, excellent communication skills, a strong sense of integrity, and a commitment to ethical professional conduct.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake data extraction, data cleaning, and processing to build insights on the marketplace relevant to the client and project.
  • Assist in the production of presentation and ensure all information and presentation material is accurate and correct and helps to tell a story.
  • Liaise with clients and take responsibility for data collection and client correspondence.
  • Perform data analysis (in SPSS) and prepare written reports and presentations summarizing survey results and findings
  • Participate in client and company meetings.

Who you are:

  • You love data and telling a clear, rich story with data.
  • You love solving varied business problems with data to support your recommendations.
  • You have 0-3 years of work experience with data analysis and project management - direct client experience preferred
  • You have strong experience with Excel, PowerPoint, SPSS (R, Python, or other statistical software packages a plus)
  • While you know the big picture, you have high attention to detail.
  • You have the ability to work independently and take ownership of obligations
  • You are able to perform in a team, use judgment and operate under ambiguity
  • You have experience or special interest in the Tech, Media & Technology space, streaming content, engagement analytics, and/or evolving home technology
  • You are able to manage working on many different clients and projects at the same time
  • Previous top-tier consulting experience preferred
