The Solana Foundation is a non-profit foundation based in Zug, Switzerland, dedicated to the adoption, decentralization, and security of the Solana network. The Solana Foundation is working to realize a world where individuals own their data, use permissionless networks, and transfer information freely around the world.

What we do:

The Grants  team is focused on ensuring that great builders within the ecosystem can get the right support at the right time. We do this by:

• Working with builders and crafting milestone-based agreements

• Help teams understand the best source of funding for their projects

• Supporting the continued success of teams in the ecosystem 

We wear many hats: a successful Grants team member often flexes the skillsets of strategy, sales, consulting, product management, and relationship management. 

Responsibilities:

• Be the first line of communication between builders in the ecosystem and the Solana Foundation grants program

• Start, manage and grow relationships with projects across the entire Solana ecosystem

• Formulate and execute a strategy for evaluating the impact of grants on the ecosystem

• Help develop key messages for communication to existing and potential partners

• Work closely with BD, Product, Marketing teams to strengthen awareness, usability, and adoption of Solana

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience at a leading financial institution, consulting firm, or technology company

• A proven track record of success against objective KPIs

• Outstanding communication skills 

• Presently located in New York, San Francisco, or willing to relocate

• Understanding of Solana and its ecosystem

• Native English speaker

Bonus points for:

• Previous experience working in or with the Solana ecosystem

• Strong presence on crypto communities, social media (Twitter..etc), and/or you maintain a crypto focused blog
