Role Description
We are looking to expand our Data team with a data analyst to help create data-driven internal solutions for the Illuvium DAO. This involves combining data sources from domains such as blockchain, our games and marketing channels to lead to insights benefitting the DAO.
About Illuvium
Illuvium Labs is an independent game development studio based in Sydney, Australia. We develop blockchain based games for the Illuvium DAO. We have developed a strong culture of independence with our team, preferring candidates who can articulate their own vision and goals. We operate almost entirely remotely so each team member designs their own hours and work schedule. In the end all that matters is the delivered product. We hire based on peopleâÂÂs abilities to adapt and change quickly, valuing underlying core abilities above specific skill sets.
Responsibilities

Proactively assist game designers, marketeers and developers in solving problems with data

Use and monitor our artificial intelligence agents to help tune and improve our games

Create insightful and clean dashboards to help the different compartments within Illuvium do what they do best

Come up with new and creative insights using data and statistics to improve our products

Deal with data-related ad hoc requests from the broader Illuvium team
Skills and Qualifications

Have an intuition for solving problems with data

Have a deep understanding of statistics

High proficiency with Python

Experience with Google Analytics, BigQuery and Looker Studio

The ability to both work independently while proactively engaging with the Analytics team

Experience visualizing and explaining data-driven solutions to internal stakeholders

An interest in applying data analysis to the intersection of blockchain and gaming
Preferred Qualifications

Experience with data analysis on gaming, blockchain and marketing is a big plus

Understanding of both SQL and noSQL-based databases

Experience with AWS
