Symbridge is looking for a client facing Technical Support Engineer who is passionate about leveraging new technologies and enjoys digging into technical problems while coming up with solutions for clients. This is an incredible opportunity to join a fully funded, innovative, early stage Fintech that will transform digital trading platforms.

As a Technical Support Engineer, you will be a core member of the IT Support team and will ultimately be reporting to the Head of Support. The ideal candidate should be technical, possess a passion for technical support and have experience working in an existing exchange or other relevant financial institution.

Open to remote or hybrid work for the right candidate.

What you'll do:

  • Respond to customer inquiries and assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
  • Attend meetings to analyze, troubleshoot and diagnose system problems of the customers
  • Document issues, errors and questions encountered in the system by the customers or users
  • Identify and recommend ways to improve functionality - both in support practices and development features
  • Work and collaborate with with Development teams to understand the system architecture in order to support clients

What you'll need to have:

  • 4+ years’ of experience in a customer service role focusing on software products and services
  • Tech-savvy and organized with the ability to prioritize and solve problems
  • Be able to navigate around a Linux operating system in order to troubleshoot
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to take ownership and initiative
  • Passionate about technology, particularly relating to Cryptocurrency, Defi, Blockchain

What would be nice to have:

  • FinTech industry exposure
  • Cryptocurrency knowledge
  • Cloud experience either in GCP (preferred), AWS or Azure

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Computer Science highly preferred
