About the Team

The Compliance function at Okcoin is responsible for implementing the compliance programs that support the overall compliance culture at the company. We’re a team of risk-minded problem solvers who advise the business on the company’s regulatory obligations and enterprise risk. Our team consists of seasoned risk and compliance professionals who are based across our global offices.

What You'll be Doing:

  • Supervise the due diligence process of finding, selecting, onboarding, and maintaining the right vendors for the company.
  • Partner with different compliance team members to assess company needs, financials, and the market to determine the best options to meet compliance requirements.
  • Partner with different teams at the company when it comes to critical vendor selection outside of the compliance realm, to guide them through the vendor life cycle process.
  • Shape and execute the vendor management program, including the vendor management policy, vendor scoring, a detailed RFP process, with a deep understanding of vendor relationships.
  • Conduct vendor performance management and stakeholder satisfaction management and engage in conflict resolution, as necessary.
  • Confirm vendors meet regulatory requirements, as necessary.
  • Perform annual vendor risk assessments.
  • Perform quarterly interim check-up assessments.
  • Stay informed about industry trends that have an impact on vendor strategy.

What We Look For in You:

  • 5+ years relevant experience conducting vendor due diligence, vendor procurement, or third-party risk management.
  • Experience establishing a Vendor Management vision and strategy.
  • Experience presenting ideas and solutions to a variety of audiences, including executives, engineers and business teams.
  • Build business partnerships with customers, internal partners/stakeholders and executives.
  • Experience working with technical and non-technical team members.
  • An ability to distill complex issues into relevant, solvable and applicable tasks; critical thinking and analytical skills are mandatory.
  • Superior writing skills, including the ability to concisely present gap analyses and memoranda to senior/executive management.
  • Skilled in using GSuite and MS Office communication tools, including PPT, Excel, GDocs.

Nice to Haves:

  • Prior FinTech experience, particularly with an auditing or oversight focus
  • Proven track record negotiating software and hardware prices.
  • General Compliance experience (product compliance, operational risk, BCP/DR, SEC/FINRA background).
