ZILHive Investment Associate

Role

We are looking to bring an additional investor into ZILHive, our ventures team, to help drive ecosystem growth.

We have a diverse portfolio of companies and are actively investing in the best Web3 ideas. Our approach is geographically, vertically and stage-agnostic. We offer promising projects funding support through grants, equity, and/or token investment.

You will be tasked with finding early-stage projects and making investment recommendations. The Investment Associate will be involved in the full investment cycle – from deal sourcing, due diligence, deal structure and close, portfolio management, and exit decisions.

• A self-starter who enjoys full autonomy to pursue ideas and to make things happen, with the full support of an experienced and committed team.
• Intellectual curiosity to keep asking questions, eagerness to learn about how a leading Layer 1 Protocol operates, and to think creatively about ways to develop and grow our portfolio.
• (Preferably 2+ years of) experience in a fast-paced fintech or, ideally, Web3 environment.
• A demonstrable record of contributing to successful investments. Personal investing or trading experience in the crypto space is helpful, yet not essential.
• Ability to identify trends and opportunities in the space and desire to discover new projects and founders.
• You enjoy deep diving into a company, valuation work, and undertaking due diligence to assess project metrics and growth potential.
• Engage in the ongoing monitoring and management of investments to offer portfolio companies guidance on product, marketing, fundraising, etc.
• Financial modeling proficiency is beneficial. Familiarity with tokenomics is also an advantage.
• Visibility in crypto communities and on social media channels and initiative to help build Zilliqa’s brand and community.
• Fluency in English. Other languages are always valued.
