Web3 Senior FrontEnd Engineer contract

FluidNFT Labs
$120k - $200k

This job is closed

Who we are

FluidNFT is an NFT + DeFi company building in the open since Q4 2021. We’re pre-seed with early stage support from web pioneers such as @TachyonAccel, @ConsenSysMesh and @ProtocolLabs, targeting a Q3 mainnet launch.

What we’re building

FluidNFT is building a rug-free instant liquidity NFT collateralized loans protocol for NFT degens, by NFT degens - protecting people's bags with our unique DeFi primitive.

We envision a future where NFTs eat the world - where we, the people, own EVERYTHING, will be able to instantly borrow 0.0000000001% against their home to pay for coffee, and NFTs overtake gold and Bitcoin to underpin world currency reserves.

Benefits of working at FluidNFT

WAGMI! 🚀 We’re here to learn together, grow together and ship amazing products TOGETHER. This is an opportunity to join our founding team and be with us from the beginning, help us build, bootstrap governance and transition ownership to the community. Benefits include:

  • Option to be paid in cryptocurrency
  • Flexible monthly budget for professional development (books, conferences, classes)
  • Flexible PTO (holiday and sick-leave)
  • A fully-remote work environment

What your day-to-day looks like

  • Collaborating with the founder / core dev to hook up the Front-end with new smart contract functionality
  • Optimizing and productionizing the Front-end
  • Working with Oracle price feeds
  • Writing unit tests, integration tests and deployment scripts
  • Attending user interviews from which to learn and refine the product
  • (Ideally) UI/UX design and/or integrating changes with the front-end
  • Ideating with the team on new Web3 and DeFi primitives and how to leverage novel web3 infrastructure to better develop and decentralize our products

What you bring

  • 2+ years of ReactJS, JavaScript, and/or TypeScript experience
  • Portfolio of interesting / useful open-source contributions
  • Familiarity with the Ethereum blockchain
  • Ability to work remote full-time with minimal supervision
  • Want to be hands-on in the development of the company and to grow with us
  • 4 hour overlap with Central European Time (CET)

What would be amazing if you have

  • A passion for NFTs, DeFi and decentralization
  • Experience building in Web3 working with DeFi protocols
  • Experience with UI / UX design - bonus points for designing with Figma
  • Experience with our stack: Solidity, Ether.js, ReactJS, Figma, Chainlink, IPFS, Filecoin

Do blockchain developers work from home?

Yes, many blockchain developers work from home, especially in the current times where remote work has become more common due to the pandemic

The nature of blockchain development allows developers to work from anywhere in the world as long as they have a good internet connection and the necessary tools to do their work

In fact, many blockchain companies have fully remote teams and offer flexible work arrangements

This allows them to hire talented developers from all over the world without being limited by geographical location

However, it's important to note that not all blockchain development jobs are remote

Some companies may prefer to have their developers work on-site for security or other reasons

So, it's important to carefully read the job description and requirements before applying to ensure that you're comfortable with the work arrangements.
