Web3 Community Manager

Compensation: $36k - $52k estimated

Community Management at Wintermute

We are excited to be recruiting our first Community Manager who will co-design and execute community engagement and growth strategy for a new DeFi project incubated by Wintermute.

You will work in and be an integral part of the product incubation team through the pre-launch phase, Day 1 and beyond. The role will be varied and cover various aspects of community management. You will own the community plan, build out the content and tools, interact with the community in chat, voice and even face-to-face.

It is an incredibly unique opportunity that gives you the ability to work with the industry experts at a leading crypto trading firm, as well as with a wider decentralised team of a new exciting DeFi project. 

Responsibilities

• Community Strategy: - Develop community engagement and growth plan - Set up the right systems and processes to ensure successful community building and participation - Ensure community strategy is aligned with broader marketing strategy, events and materials - Help create the community narrative • Community Management  - Manage Discord and Twitter accounts and ensure communication and moderation - Organise community events, incl contests, community calls and online activities - Co-create and publish  engaging thought leadership on issues in the DeFi space via Twitter, Medium, etc. - Track and measure outcomes • Community Support - Manage support requests - Understand product mechanisms and be able to answer community questions, speak with users, and support integration partners • Collaboration - Work closely with design, marketing and product teams to ensure alignment and focus on community - Act as the voice of the community to help prioritise the product roadmap
