What we're looking for

TON Foundation is seeking a Public Relations Manager to join our PR and Communications team, supporting our global communications efforts and helping shape the public image of TON in the fast-evolving world of Web3 and crypto. The ideal candidate ****is a proactive communicator with deep Web3 knowledge, capable of building media relationships and optimizing digital content to drive brand visibility and user engagement.

As a key member of the communications team, you will work closely with senior leadership, internal stakeholders, and external media to help tell TON’s story, amplify our ecosystem partners, and engage the crypto community with clarity and impact.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute PR strategies to secure positive media coverage in tech, finance, and blockchain outlets, enhancing TON’s brand reputation.
• Draft and edit press materials, including press releases, media pitches, project briefs, and messaging documents.
• Build and maintain relationships with key media outlets, journalists, influencers, and crypto communities to promote TON’s products and milestones.
• Monitor and analyze media coverage, industry trends, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for proactive PR strategies.
• Collaborate with the content and marketing teams to ensure consistent brand messaging across all digital channels.
• Track and report on PR performance using KPIs such as media mentions, website traffic, and search engine rankings.
• Leverage sentiment analysis tools to gauge public perception and refine PR strategies accordingly.
• Review and edit external communications, such as newsletters, social posts, and thought leadership content
• Support crisis communication efforts by managing timely and transparent responses to technical issues or high-demand scenarios.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in PR, journalism, communications, or marketing ideally within an agency or the tech, software, or cryptocurrency industries.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft compelling PR materials and narratives.
• Proven track record of securing media coverage and building relationships with journalists and influencers in tech or blockchain spaces.
• Demonstrable experience creating promotions and campaigns that are specifically designed to resonate with a brand’s community and audience.
• Deep understanding of blockchain technology, cryptocurrency markets, and the Web3 ecosystem.
• Proficiency with PR tools including Meltwater, Vuelio, Cision and ResponseSource.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple initiatives under tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Native English speaker
• Degree in English, PR, journalism, communications, or marketing.
• An established network of media contacts in the tech, finance, or blockchain industries.
• Experience securing media coverage or working with journalists in tech or blockchain.
• Active presence in crypto communities on platforms like X, TikTok, or Reddit.
• Experience with sentiment analysis tools and PR tracking platforms.
• Willingness to work across time zones (CET +/- 3) to collaborate with global teams.
