About Synapse Labs

Synapse’s vision is to be the HTTPS for crypto, allowing developers to build apps without the constraints of individual blockchains.

The Synapse Labs team was a major contributor to Synapse and works on new products to expand the Synapse ecosystem. Our team has hubs in New York City and London with the option to be partially or fully remote depending on the position.

What You'll do:

In this role you'll be working closely with the Engineering team to architect, maintain, and scale the infrastructure and services that power Synapse Labs infra.

  • Build and manage kubernetes clusters for backend infrastructure

  • Maintain, upgrade, and be responsible for RPC nodes across 20+ blockchains

  • Create and manage Github CI/CD pipelines

What we look for in you:

  • Have experience running large Kubernetes clusters, in the range of 100-1,000 nodes

  • Can design a simple, scalable distributed system

  • Have helped a team mature from 0 to 1 with standardized tools and processes around stability, observability, and scaling.

  • Have experience working with GCP

  • Own problems end-to-end, and are willing to learn and pick up whatever knowledge you're missing to get the job done

  • Crypto Native; A deep understanding of blockchains and blockchain developer tooling

Our infrastructure is built on Kubernetes and Cloud Tasks on GCP. While we value experience with these technologies, we are primarily looking for engineers with strong technical skills and the ability to quickly pick up new tools and frameworks.
