Key Responsibilities:

• Make crucial architectural decisions that will shape the future of the business.
• Develop and implement engineering best practices and systems.
• Partner with product and design teams on feature prioritization and implementation, focusing on user experience as a key differentiator.
• Navigate daily usage and structure of virtual containers like Docker.
• Work with queue-based architecture and distributed systems.
• Apply ACID (Atomicity, Consistency, Isolation, Durability) principles to handle concurrency, locking, and race conditions.

Must-have Skills and Qualifications:

• Proficient in a statically typed language like Java or Kotlin.
• Familiarity with modern best practices in engineering and systems development.
• Proven track record of building, launching, and iterating on successful financial or web3 products.
• Extensive experience with Postgres and understanding of ACID(atomicity, consistency, isolation, and durability)
• Functional and conversational understanding of Docker or equivalent virtual container systems.
• Experience with queue architecture, ideally equivalent to SQS/SNS minimum.
• Sound knowledge of signing, hashing, and secure usage of common cryptography in relation to blockchain.

Nice-to-haves:

• Experience with No-SQL systems, RDS, and DevOps.
• Prior experience in blockchain, if confident with the underlying cryptography technology.
