What you will do
GnosisDAO builds decentralized infrastructure for the Ethereum ecosystem. Gnosis developed a wide range of products, including Gnosis Safe (multisig and programmable account), Gnosis Protocol (CowSwap), Conditional Tokens (prediction markets), Gnosis Auction, and Zodiac (standard and tooling for composable DAOs), Circles UBI (blockchain-based unconditional basic income) and Gnosis Chain. Gnosis Chain is the product of the merger of Gnosis and xDai. As one of Ethereum’s earliest sidechains with the largest validator aside from Ethereum itself, Gnosis Chain has quiet but significant real-world usage and has embarked on an aggressive technical roadmap to accelerate Ethereum. Gnosis Chain is also where Ethereum’s colorful and quirky spirit lives on, as the original home that incubated many defining projects like POAP, Burner Wallet, Dark Forest, and Perpetual Protocol.
With a lot of the infrastructure building out of the way, we’re entering the next phase of our mission: Building products that are not only usable for regular (normie!) users but also legitimately better than what is currently available to them. With this new phase comes a new need: Building a marketing team within Gnosis.

Position OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and value-aligned Head of Marketing to join our dynamic team at Gnosis. As the Head of Marketing, you will drive the marketing strategy and execution for our first retail product. Our company has a successful track record of building protocols in the blockchain space, and we are now expanding into the retail market. You will play a crucial role in informing product decisions, establishing our brand, creating awareness, and driving customer acquisition and retention strategies.
Feedback and Guidance for Product Development:
By actively engaging with the product development team and providing valuable feedback and guidance, you will contribute to the creation of a product that aligns with market needs and maximizes its potential for success in the retail market.
Collaborate closely with the product development team to provide marketing insights, customer feedback, and market trends that can shape the product roadmap.
Act as a bridge between marketing and product development teams, ensuring effective communication and alignment of goals.
Gather customer feedback through surveys, focus groups, and user testing to identify areas of improvement and provide actionable insights for product enhancements.
Continuously monitor market trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscape to guide the product development team in making informed decisions.
Provide clear and concise briefs to the product development team on marketing requirements, customer personas, and positioning to ensure the product meets market demands and resonates with the target audience.
Marketing Strategy and Planning:
Develop a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with the company's objectives and product roadmap for the retail market.
Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify target segments, positioning, and differentiators for our retail product.
Define marketing goals, key performance indicators (KPIs), and budget allocation to ensure efficient resource utilization.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align marketing initiatives with product development, sales, and business development efforts.
Branding and Positioning:
Develop a compelling brand strategy and messaging that resonates with the target audience in the retail market.
Define and maintain brand guidelines, ensuring consistent brand identity across all marketing channels and customer touchpoints.
Create a strong brand presence by implementing effective brand-building initiatives, including content marketing, social media, and public relations.
Customer Acquisition and Lead Generation:
Identify customer acquisition channels and develop effective marketing campaigns to drive awareness, generate leads, and convert prospects into customers.
Optimize digital marketing strategies, including search engine marketing (SEM), search engine optimization (SEO), and social media advertising.
Collaborate with product and engineering teams to implement growth hacking techniques and viral marketing strategies to accelerate customer acquisition.
Community Engagement and Retention:
Develop community engagement strategies to foster long-term relationships and increase user loyalty.
Analyze customer behavior, feedback, and market trends to refine marketing strategies and improve customer satisfaction.
Analytics and Reporting:
Establish marketing analytics frameworks and track KPIs to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and initiatives.
Utilize data-driven insights to optimize marketing strategies, improve conversion rates, and increase ROI.
