Web3 Performance Marketing Lead

In this role you will be working closely with the VP, Marketing to build a best in class paid growth engine. You'll lead strategy and execution for building out OpenSea's performance channels, starting with search, paid social, and app install. You'll work with cross functional partners and agencies to build out a measurement framework, develop a test and learn strategy, and deliver outsized impact for the business. The right candidate will have experience launching and scaling performance channels from zero to one and have a strong focus on measurement, especially in the evolving ad ecosystem.

Responsibilities: - Develop a short and long term strategy for accelerating adoption of OpenSea and growing broader awareness of the emerging NFT space. Establish data, measurement, and attribution strategy for all performance marketing channels. - Partner with Data team to build a best in class martech stack to support hyper-scaling of performance channels. - Lead a cross-functional effort to identify, test, measure, and optimize various marketing channels in order to grow company top line while ensuring sustainable LTV/CAC ratios.

Desired Experience: - Are data driven in the extreme. You live for creative measurement approaches, you talk about incrementally and lift testing at the dinner table, testing is as reflexive as breathing. - Are a T-shaped marketer: spike in at least one channel but know enough to hit the ground running across others. - Have taken key performance channels (Search, Social, etc.) zero to one. - Use data to provide actionable insights and drive us toward the best possible outcome. - Have outstanding interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence (EQ), and ability to persuade / drive alignment among differing perspectives. - Thrive in collaborative cultures and working cross-functionally with BD, product, legal, finance, and design to launch successful partnerships. - Build strong relationships and have experience doing so with both technical and non-technical audiences. - A plus, if you have experience and/or is passionate in e-commerce and/or the blockchain.
