What you’ll do
As an SDK Engineer with Topl you will develop and maintain Brambl, Topl's open-source web3 developer libraries. We currently support Scala, JavaScript, Python, and Dart. Interested candidates must have experience in Scala and demonstrate readiness to cover supported languages.
You will also build services to help integrate our blockchain with existing IT infrastructures. These will be implemented in Scala and involve databases.
Additional Responsibilities Include
- Work with a highly skilled team of engineers in an agile environment
- Contribute to the design and architecture of Topl's external developer resources
- Collaborate closely with Topl’s management to meet project deadlines
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation
- Perform and participate in code reviews
- Communicate and implement best practices across the engineering team
What You'll Bring
- You have 3+ years of professional software engineering experience. Experience with highly decentralized and distributed systems
- Experience in building complex SDKs and APIs
- Experience with Scala and one or more of the following languages: Go, Kotlin, TypeScript, Dart, Python
- Experience with databases. Experiences with document stores and graph databases will be most helpful.
- Advocate of clean, well written code
- Excellent communication / collaboration skills
- You have worked with containerization tools such as Docker
- You have enthusiasm for Topl’s mission to positively impact the world with technology
- You want to build more than just a product. You also want to help build good culture and best practices at an emerging company
Bonus qualifications
- Understanding of blockchain technology
- Contributor to the open source community; you're likely to write blogs, attend tech meet-ups and conferences
- You have previously created tools and APIs for external developers
- You’ve spent at least 1 year leading a team of your fellow engineers
