People Generalist EMEA

Position Overview

Blockdaemon is in search of a trusted and experienced People Generalist based in EMEA to join our People team and complement our globally distributed team. Our ideal candidate will manage and creatively enhance our efforts in onboarding, talent management, total rewards, and employee relations for both our managers and their direct reports.

This role will report directly to our Head of People, and work closely with our distributed People team. We are looking for someone who is inspired and passionate about building and supporting a strong People function that helps power our growth.

The role will primarily work during EMEA business hours.

Your Impact

  • Manage the employee lifecycle to ensure a consistently positive and engaging experience.
  • Execute organization-wide Talent Programs, overseeing assessments and compensation reviews.
  • Serve as a trusted People Partner, offering guidance and support to managers and employees to foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Help improve and ensure compliance with HR policies that foster a positive and productive work environment.
  • Collaborate with Legal, Finance, and managers to streamline business processes and enhance employee programs.
  • Partner with the People team to build and maintain robust and user-friendly documentation.
  • Provide expert guidance and support on HR-related issues, including leaves of absence, benefits, and compensation.
  • Gather HR data and analyze metrics to identify areas for improvement.

Role Requirements

  • Based in Ireland (Galway, Dublin), or UK (London)
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience as a Business Partner or Generalist
  • Strong emotional intelligence, interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience working in a fast-paced experience startup environment
  • Exceptional ability to prioritize tasks decisively, adeptly handling multiple projects and meeting deadlines with precision
  • Extensive proficiency in Excel and other data analytics tools; adept at leveraging people data to drive influence and inform decisions
