Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced ELK/Prometheus Engineer who will design, implement, and maintain data infrastructure and tooling. This role is open to remote work as our teams are globally distributed. In this role, you must be comfortable working independently and autonomously while establishing a cadence of timely delivery with high-quality work.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Maintain and support existing ELK and Prometheus stacks
• Assist in developing queries, automated tooling, and dashboards to data mine and visualize monitoring telemetry and other gathered data
• Enhance, simplify, streamline and/or add functionality to existing data mining and visualization workflows
• Optimize and future proof existing infrastructure for performance, scalability and robustness
• Performs other duties as assigned

Skills and Required Qualifications:

• Legally authorized to work in the job posting country
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS or related technology field
• 5+ years of experience
• ElasticSearch, Logstash, Kibana (ELK) experience
• Prometheus, Grafana, GraphQL experience
• Cloud VM/network provisioning and administration (AWS, GCE, Azure) a plus
• Containers (Kubernetes, Docker)
• Automated deployment tooling (terraform, ansible) a plus
• Git and continuous integration
• Python/bash
• Hashicorp Vault experience a plus
• Nginx/HTTP/HTTPS/JSONRPC/REST a plus
• DNS and Golang a plus
• VPC/VPN a plus
• Knowledge of Cryptocurrencies preferred
• Excellent oral and written communication, including presentation skills
• Works well in a fast-paced environment and can pivot from projects as needed
