Responsibilities

• Perform trade bookings and post-trade processes including position and balance reconciliations and settlement checks, processing of options and futures expiry and fee bookings
• Build tools such as scripts and dashboards to monitor trading activities, positions and balances to ensure accuracy of trading P&L, risk exposure and funding balance at all times
• Analyze and optimize funding usage to improve P&L
• Drive automation projects, working with traders and developers using Python and SQL, to improve process efficiencies and controls
• Systematically analyze large amounts of data to review and update parameterization and improve trading system controls
• Troubleshoot operational bottlenecks, delays, and other problems presented throughout the trade life cycle
• Design SOPs and implement process controls to support new business initiatives, collaborating across divisions
• Prepare trading performance reports and analyses for senior management

Requirements

• Graduated from a quantitative discipline (Finance, Statistics, Financial Engineering, or related discipline), with professional qualification such as CPA and FRM an added advantage
• Have prior working experience on the Trading floor or in relevant functions such as Model Valuation, Risk, Product Control or Middle Office in a financial services or crypto trading firm
• Have knowledge in SQL and Python and an interest to expand your technical skills
• Logical with strong analytical skills, detailed oriented with a high degree of accuracy while able to grasp the big picture
• A self-starter, able to work independently as well as collaborate effectively across teams A product owner, results oriented, think outside of the box and can deliver under pressure
• Thrive to work in a dynamic environment, passionate about cryptocurrency and blockchain
