The Parity education team is a new team trusted with the mission of helping individuals and teams get deeper knowledge of Blockchain, Polkadot and of the technologies and tools built by Parity Technologies.

This position is responsible for supporting the launch of the Parity Education program and its students community. You will be one of the founding member of Parity new Education Team,

Responsibilities:

  • Building Operations
    • Connect with space owners to ensure space is ready for classes
    • Ensure space-specific operational requirements are met for each learning day

  • Events:
    • Plan event strategy to foster a sense of community among students and with staff.
    • Execute and host social and professional events and value offerings to the program community.
  • Community
    • Answer any questions from members and guests related to the building including way-finding, policies and procedures, community etiquette, etc.
    • Identify and execute opportunities to connect members with each other.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in operational roles (project management, productions, facilities etc.) or community management experience
  • Strong organization skills with the ability to multitask projects from start to finish.
  • You are attentive to detail and manage tasks efficiently and effectively.
  • Love learning and iterating. This program is new and will require several rounds of experimentations and iterations. You embrace change.
  • You can work well in a distributed team.
  • Travels required incl. international travel
