We are looking for a Junior Corporate Lawyer to support the legal team at 1inch. The successful candidate will handle day-to-day corporate legal tasks such as contract reviews, research, and governance processes. They should be enthusiastic about DeFi, collaborative across teams, and ready to work in a dynamic legal environment.

Key Responsibilities

• This role suits someone with strong legal training and an interest in blockchain and technology. The key responsibilities and day-to-day duties of the role include the following:

Corporate and Contract Support

• Draft, review, and revise NDAs, service agreements, and internal contracts
• Help maintain template libraries and ensure document consistency
• Assist with reviewing corporate and intercompany documents
• Support due diligence and onboarding of vendors and partners
• Track contract lifecycle and flag renewal or update needs

Governance and Entity Management

• Support maintenance of legal records for entities across multiple jurisdictions
• Assist with board resolutions, shareholder registers, and filings
• Monitor deadlines and corporate governance compliance

Legal Research and Advisory

• Conduct research on legal topics in DeFi, token law, and cross-border risk management
• Summarize findings and present them to legal management
• Stay up to date with regulatory developments in key jurisdictions

Risk and Documentation

• Contribute to risk flagging in vendor/partner agreements
• Support legal department documentation and audit readiness
• Help draft and maintain internal legal SOPs and FAQs

Collaboration and Enablement

• Act as liaison between legal and business teams for clarifying contract terms
• Participate in legal reviews of marketing and product releases
• Join internal syncs and Confluence/Jira documentation processes

What You’ll Need

• The core skills, knowledge, experience and mindset required to be successful in this role include the following:

Experience

• 1–3 years of legal experience, ideally in tech or fintech
• Previous exposure to international contracts and governance
• Experience reviewing or drafting commercial agreements
• Familiarity with blockchain/crypto legal issues is a plus
• Involvement in document and process management systems

Skills

• Strong drafting and legal writing skills
• Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus)
• Proficiency in legal tools (e.g., Confluence, DocuSign, Jira)
• Understanding of corporate legal principles and contract law
• Bonus: knowledge of crypto risk management and DeFi trends

Mindset

• Structured, precise, and detail-oriented

• Comfortable working across jurisdictions and ambiguity
