Purpose of the Role:
As a key member of our Marketing team, you’ll work closely with fellow writers, designers and a broad range of internal stakeholders to bring BitMEX’s fresh design, voice, and point of view to the millions of users across the globe that use our platform on a daily basis — helping to bring BitMEX back as the most recognised Cryptocurrency brand in the world.
This position can be fully remote or can work in one of our locations globally.
Responsibilities:
- As part of the design team, develop and produce artwork and advertising, which reflects the identity of BitMEX globally; across different products and local markets
- Collaborate closely with the internal design team to ensure brand coherency and consistency across all creative output
- Create visually appealing, user-friendly digital assets across all marketing channels: responsive website, static ads, banners, email, in-product, etc.
- Develop visual identity platforms, systems, typography, illustration, iconography systems
- Ideate visual concepts/themes/directions and refining design work based on creative direction
- Work cross-functionally and collaborating with internal and external team members
- Collaborate with executive staff on design needs including presentations, pitch decks, social graphics
- Proactively identify emerging design trends, and contribute to robust internal creative conversations
- Bring concepts/campaigns to life with strong executions that drive program goals
Qualifications:
- 3+ Years of Professional Experience in designing marketing visual assets for a technology-focused startup, agency or freelance capacity.
- Experience developing branding systems
- Experience developing scalable design systems that enable quick, high-impact executions
- No stranger to memes and internet lingo, and you take pleasure in creating engaging, dynamic and head-turning visuals from concept to execution across various marketing channels.
- Strong work ethic, good communication skills and a collaborative spirit, because you love teamwork and appreciate its importance.
- Showcase your portfolio, and let it speak for itself
- Excellent artistic skills (illustration, animation, etc.)
- Demonstrated experience articulating the design trends
- Bonus: you have creative capabilities beyond marketing design
