Our platform is evolving continuously, and we work hard to uphold our high standards for new and improved features. To support our growth, Swyftx is searching for a Fraud Analyst who is passionate about identifying and solving customer fraud vulnerabilities.

About the opportunity

In this newly created position as a Fraud Analyst, you will play a leading role in fraud detection and customer fraud prevention for the Swyftx platform. Your focus in this position will be to reduce customer fraud. You will work closely with the compliance team to expand the existing transaction monitoring systems with a focus to identify potential fraud and stop it before any losses occur. Longer term, this role will evolve into a management position where you will run a small team who will look after the newly implemented fraud system.

Responsibilities:

• Identify patterns and characteristics within data to drive the development of fraud prevention
• Make recommendations and implement new systems and solutions to reduce customer fraudulent activities
• Work closely with Swyftx teams to understand the businesses goals and challenges regarding customer fraud
• Assist in the recovery of losses by deciding on actions that need to be taken
• Become the Subject Matter Expert of the system and assist with managing and training staff

About you:

• Previous experience in financial fraud prevention/detection (minimum 3 years)
• A solid understanding of motives, trends, and indicators of fraud
• A solid understanding of the current global Fraud landscape
• A creative thinker who can think outside of the box to notice and identify patterns and trends
• An Agile mindset and is comfortable changing processes quickly
• An understanding of cryptocurrency and/or blockchain technology is advantageous
