Interested in working on cutting-edge blockchain technology and creating equitable access to the global financial system? Since 2014, the mission-driven team at the Stellar Development Foundation (SDF) has helped fuel the tremendous growth of the Stellar blockchain network, an open-source platform that operates at high-scale today. Developers and companies around the world build on it, and the SDF team is expanding to support the rapidly growing and changing Stellar ecosystem.

We are looking for a Global Engagement Lead who is passionate about building an ecosystem of active members. Guided by the SDF’s mission to create equitable access to the global financial system, the successful candidate will develop and nurture a first-of-its-kind engagement program for the Stellar ecosystem to connect regionally for days devoted to volunteerism. They will know how to develop research with local organizations – notably focused on financial access and literacy. The ideal candidate will have strong writing, project management, and collaboration skills, experience managing stakeholders as well as coordinating events, and is eager to work on ecosystem engagement. This role will sit within the strategy team in the office of the CEO.

In this role, you will:

  • Develop and lead a global program that activates participants in the Stellar ecosystem to engage in regional activities and events
  • Advance a program from strategy to execution, handling program development, coordination, and logistics
  • Engage regional organizations with mission alignment in target jurisdictions around which SDF can convene philanthropic events with Stellar ecosystem participants
  • Coordinate at least one event per quarter in key regions with ecosystem participants and beneficiary organizations

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in either stakeholder management or partnerships
  • Experience working on and building programs with international stakeholders
  • Strong project management and organization skills
  • Experience coordinating and managing events
  • Experience managing relationships
  • Strong research and writing skills
