About You

We are looking for a smart contract engineer with hands-on experience in building DeFi products. We’re looking for someone who takes security, testing, and code quality as seriously as we do. Notional’s goal is to build the most secure, most capital efficient, and most scalable lending platform in DeFi. Your role will include building and testing the core Notional smart contracts and building surrounding protocol infrastructure including Notional’s layer 2 implementation.

Our ideal candidate has experience developing production Ethereum systems and is an active DeFi user. You are a creative problem solver who doesn’t just think about the happy path. Byte strings don’t scare you, they get you interested. When you want to learn about a new DeFi protocol, you start at Github. You value clean code over performant code, but you also know that they are often the same. You have made meaningful contributions to the open source community.

Responsibilities and Requirements
-Design, develop, and test Ethereum smart contracts using Solidity
-Build testing, monitoring and analytics tools for smart contracts
-Design and build integrations with other DeFi protocols
-Develop layer 2 solutions for Notional
-Experience using and building production DeFi protocols
