Fasanara Digital is the crypto division of Fasanara Capital, a London-headquartered, FCA-authorised investment firm managing $5bn in fintech strategies. Our digital asset arm oversees over 300m in assets and operates one of the most established, market-neutral digital funds globally – Genesis Alpha – focused on high-frequency, delta-neutral trading strategies with daily turnover exceeding 5x AUM.

We are looking for a DeFi Trading & Operations Specialist to support our front-office trading desk and assist in the execution and management of DeFi-related yield generation strategies. This is a high-impact role that sits at the intersection of trading, operations, and on-chain finance, with significant exposure to real-time DeFi protocols and advanced trading flows.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-End DeFi Trade Lifecycle Support: Manage execution, confirmation, reconciliation, and monitoring of DeFi trades across multiple chains and platforms.
• Protocol Interfacing: Interact directly with AMMs, money markets, staking pools, and other DeFi primitives to execute strategies and optimize capital efficiency.
• Cross-Desk Coordination: Liaise daily with Research, Ops, and Tech teams to ensure real-time alignment on positions, PnL, risks, and funding.
• Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Actively track performance of smart contracts, bridge activity, protocol migrations, and pool mechanics; identify inefficiencies and initiate corrective actions.
• Capital Allocation Support: Assist PMs in deploying capital across venues while maintaining tight controls on wallet structures and operational risk.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate trade logs, dashboards, and reconcile on-chain activity with back-office systems.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in digital asset markets, preferably in a DeFi role. Education background in Finance is welcomed.
• Deep familiarity with DeFi protocols (Uniswap, Aave, Morpho, Lido, Curve, Pendle, etc.) and cross-chain environments.
• Working knowledge of EVM and non-EVM chains, bridging mechanics, gas strategies, and wallet operations.
• Strong operational discipline with ability to navigate fast-paced, high-frequency environments with minimal errors.
• Comfortable using block explorers, RPCs, analytics tools (e.g., Dune, DefiLlama, Token Terminal).
• Clear communicator with strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
• Python, SQL or basic scripting skills are a plus but not required.
