We're looking for a product manager with experience building consumer mobile apps to join our team and help build the future of AI experiences. Our right fit is someone who enjoys working collaboratively to synthesize ideas, priorities, strategies and tactics into strongly detailed product specs, and well-designed agile workflows.

The Plai Labs team is stacked with serial entrepreneurs who have launched, built, and sold multiple billion dollar companies. We are a team of experienced, hard working, and driven technologists and strategists.

Responsibilities

    • Manage the product strategy to ensure it aligns with the overall product and company vision.
    • Lead and support front end, middle-tier and machine learning teams.
    • Manage the roadmap. Make tough tactical prioritization decisions while helping the company think long-term. Build trust with stakeholders by maintaining an understandable, accurate roadmap.
    • Author use cases and prioritize requirements based on data-driven insights and user feedback.
    • Collaborate across the organization to realize best-in-class outcomes.
    • Measure success and report transparently. Iterate and improve on data supply and analysis.
    • Stay abreast of the latest AI art technologies and trends and incorporate industry knowledge into product strategy.

Required

    • 5+ Years experience as a product leader at consumer-facing organizations, product analytics, software engineering: ideally in consumer social mobile applications
    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related technical field and/or equivalent experience; MBA and/or MS degree preferred
    • Ability to absorb complex, ambiguous requirements and rapidly organize them into structured requirements prioritized by data and impact
    • Strong collaborator with excellent presenting via written and verbal communications
    • Strong bias toward action and follow through
    • Problem solver with strong analytical skills that translate user needs into scalable and valuable experiences
    • Strong technical acumen and experience acting as a trusted partner to engineering in driving software development
    • Familiarity with Google Workspace collaborative tools (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms)
    • Proficiency with clickup, figma, slack, notion
    • Must have legal right to work in the U.S

Preferred

    • Working knowledge of AI/ML fundamentals
    • Familiarity with latest AI trends
    • Mastery of mobile-social experiences
    • Understanding of API design & implementation

Nice To Haves

    • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Gitlab CI, Jenkins, or CircleCI)
    • Knowledge of Cloud infrastructure, preferably GCP
